• Worldwide troubles: Famine, Genocide, Warfare, Disease, Refugees
• Gender and Sexuality: Feminist Coalition
• Religion: Jesus Camp, Mormons, Islam, Buddhism, Atheism/Agnosticism
• American Controversies: Abortion, Gun Control, FCC, Elections, etc.
• Environment: Alternative living, Pollution, Global Climate Change, Nature
• April Fools (unusual, unconventional or satirical documentaries): The Confederate States of America, Helvetica, etc.
• Money: Economy, Capitalism, Credit Card Debt, etc.
• International Studies: Asian, African, “Indie” documentaries
• Radically reviewed/Controversial politics: Anarchy, Communism, Revolutions
